Who is behind this site
tangier-chefchaouen.com is run by Patrick Kühne, an independent travel publisher based in Markkleeberg near Leipzig, Germany. He builds and maintains a small portfolio of guides to attraction tickets and day tours. There is no agency and no rotating editorial team behind this site: one person researches, writes and updates the pages and answers the e-mails.
What this site does
A “Chefchaouen day trip” can be a guided walk through the blue medina, a minibus that drops you off for four hours on your own, or a long day that adds Tetouan or the Akchour waterfalls. A “Tangier day trip” from Spain can start at the port of Tarifa or with a coach ride from the Costa del Sol before dawn. We describe what separates them: where the trip starts, whether a guide walks with you, how long you actually spend in town, what the listing says about lunch and shopping stops, and which documents you need for the ferry. We are not a booking agent; every reservation happens on the booking platform.
How we earn money
When you book through one of our links, the platform pays us a commission. Your price stays the same: the commission comes out of the platform’s margin, not your pocket. No contract obliges us to favour a particular operator, and our tables are ordered by number of reviews, not by what pays us best.
Where our data comes from
Prices, ratings and review counts are pulled from our booking partner’s API and refreshed automatically several times a day. Itineraries, time on site, inclusions, pickup points and document rules come from the operators’ listings and are re-checked regularly. Where a listing contradicts itself, for example a guide in the inclusions but “no guide” in the description, we say so instead of picking one version. Found something out of date? Write to us and we will correct it.
What we are not
We do not run any tours or ferries and we are not affiliated with any operator mentioned on this site. For binding information on pickup times, ferry departures, documents and cancellations, the operator’s own channels and the ferry ticket always take precedence.
